HERE IS THE TRICK TO RECORD COMPUTER SCREEN Using   VLC PLAYER 

You Need VLC  Player ( download from here )

GOTO - View -> Advanced Controls ( click on this option )

You Will 4 Extra button on Your Screen

Now Press CTRL + N and type "screen://"  and hit ENTER KEY

This Will Show Your Screen And You May Press Record Button To Record It
 And You may take Screen Shots

And Minimize If You Want To record A Game
