STEPS:

first of all go to "run".
then type "diskpart" without quotes and hit enter.
now a CMD window will open.
then you need to type "list volume" and hit enter.
then all the drives of your computer will be listed in CMD.
now you can hide any drive. suppose you want to hide E drive.
type command "select volume E" and hit enter.
now type "remove letter E" and hit enter.
now you will see that the E drive in my computer is hidden.
when you need to unhide the drive again follow the first seven steps again and this time type command "assign letter E"(suppose i have hidden E drive) and hit enter.
now you have unhide the drive again.
